This looks awesome! When I used to work in an elementary school, there was a project where the students did a biography report on someone famous based on a common character trait. This would be a great addition for similar projects!

I think my students would really enjoy reading this book. I know I will! PLus the fact that it is a series makes it all that much more exciting.

The book sounds like a fantastic read for kids. My granddaughter would love such a book. I do like the themes that are presented and the way you tackled the challenges Curie faced. Her life story and work is an inspiration to all of us and we can find that with many women scientists of the past and even present. Thanks for sharing.

Karla, this book sounds so amazing! I love your statement. “What defines us isn’t what we ultimately achieve, but who we are in the pursuit of our dreams.” The way have have chosen to portray Marie’s life is not only inspiring to kids, but to us writers as well. Thank you for sharing your process.
