My daughter just finished Adventures of Little Yaga and Her Friends by L.B. Omilla. The content was a lot more advanced (nothing inappropriate) than the cover had lead me to believe. My 14 year old ate it up! I would describe it as a well written teen adventure book that ties in a fun element of Russian folklore, with a technological twist. I found it here, http://omilla.net.
